Hikeshi is my attempt to create an incident response application that is easy to deploy, use, and learn quickly.
I’ve been working on a side project for a bit now after noticing a lot of pain points with setting up a simple tool specific to security incident response. The job is chaotic enough, so there’s no need for another tool that does everything.
In high stress situations, it’s nice to have a simple tool that assists you while you fight those fires. The primary hope for this application is to create a tool that doesn’t get in the way or add to the stress of incident response. It aims to be simple, reliable, and unobtrusive.
It isn’t feature packed, but that’s the point. It does exactly what it needs to while you take care of the incidents at hand.
